"Dibra in Celebration" May 27, First Day

On May 27th, the first day of a three-day event was organized where our project supported a fair organized by the Municipality of Dibra with farmers who offer buyers the finest cherries, which are picked with great care and announce the opening of the season. The tourist information office in Peshkopi provided extensive information about the itineraries that anyone could visit during the event. Many tourists and nature, sports, or culinary enthusiasts had the opportunity to be equipped with a series of promotional materials such as maps of mountain trails and walking and climbing routes, tourist brochures of attractive and historic places in the country, suggestions about guest houses or campsites where they could stay, and traditional products or harvests. During this day, several journalists and mountain cyclists invited by the project visited the fair, the tourist information office, and the exhibition opened by the project "Colors of Dibra" organized in the hall of QEK. On the first day, the "Fiqiri Dine" High School, in support of the project, organized a cherry festival called "My Cherry" in Kalan of Grezhdan. The young participants were very active and full of energy in picking cherries, in displaying nature, and in commitment to paint as beautifully as one of the symbols that identifies the Dibra area. In this activity, many cyclists joined the young people in all activities and shared with them beautiful experiences on the trails they had visited and the guest houses where they had stayed. The "Colors of Dibra" exhibition opened on this day gave photography and nature enthusiasts the opportunity to be part of this competition to promote the most beautiful landscapes of Dibra. This exhibition remains open for anyone who wishes to visit it.
