# Training Activities in Peshkopi "Integration in Agritourism" Supported by the Canadian Embassy (CFLI)

Training activities with rural women in Diber continued. The third training session was held on 27 September 2024, on integrated agritourism, at the Tourism Information Center in Peshkopi. More than 25 rural women from Peshkopi and surrounding villages of Muhurr and Arras engaged in the agriculture and tourism sectors (farmers, agro-producers, guest house owners, thermal spa small hotels, and handicrafts) increased their knowledge and skills in "integrated agri-tourism". ALCDF through the project "Women Empowerment in Diber from agro-tourism - WEDA" will support the rural women in Diber on professional training, new knowledge, access to the market, and promotion of the agritourism potential to increase their families' income. This project is supported by the #CanadianEmbassy through the "Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) Albania #CFLI #canadainalbania and implemented by ALCDF.

More than 25 women from Peshkopia and surrounding villages of the Administrative Units of Muhurr and Kastriot engaged in the agriculture and tourism sectors (farmers, guest house owners, small hotel owners at thermal spas and handicraft businesses) gained new knowledge and skills to integrate into agritourism. ALCDF through the project "Women Empowerment in Diber through agritourism - WEDA" will contribute to professional training, new knowledge, market access, and promotion of agritourism potential for rural women in Diber in order for them to increase opportunities to raise their families' income. This project is supported by the Canadian Embassy with funds from the CFLI project "Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) Albania" and implemented by ALCDF.
