Leadership and Management Training for Environmental Actors in Protected Area Management in the Cross-Border Region of the Sharr-Korab Massif. PONT Project

Leadership and management training was held for Environmental Actors in Protected Area Management in the cross-border region of the Sharr-Korab massif. Representatives from the Protected Area Administration, co-management structures, and Civil Society from Sharr Mountain National Park, Mavrovo National Park, and Korab-Koritnik Nature Park participated for consecutive days in Mavrovo. Under the facilitation and instruction of Expert Myftar Doci from the ANTTARC resource center, participants acquired new knowledge, shared experiences with one another, worked collaboratively, and were trained in good management and leadership in their work, in the institutions where they are employed, and for the communities they serve.

This training was organized within the framework of the project "Protection and Sustainable Use of Protected Areas in Sharr Mountain, Mavrovo, and Korab-Koritnik," financed by the Prespa Ohrid Nature Trust - PONT program. Project implementers are the ALCDF Foundation and partners CSCD and LAG Dibra Tourism.
