Workshop 3 supported by EU4Culture and financed by European Union and implemented by ALCDF

A special workshop took place at "Lahuta e Vjetër" agritourism, with the participation of grandmothers, mothers, teachers, and students from the 9-year school in Gjorëm. This third event highlighted the rich culinary traditions of Kurbin, bringing attention to the values of our cultural and gastronomic heritage. The students had the opportunity to learn and cook together with the mothers, using fresh and local ingredients such as corn flour, Vinjola chestnuts, and garden vegetables.

This activity served as an opportunity to strengthen the bonds between generations and educate the youth on the importance of preserving Albanian culinary heritage. During the meeting, participants shared experiences and learned more about the role of food in daily life and the traditional celebrations of Kurbin, an important step towards preserving Albanian cultural identity and promoting fresh and authentic products.
