Cookbook "Timeless Flavors"

This book is the result of the work of the ALCDF Foundation and author Dhurata Thanasi within the framework of the project "Timeless Flavors: Discover the Tastes and Ballads of Kurbin", financed by the EU through EU4Culture and implemented by UNOPS in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports. The project aims to develop tourism through the promotion of intangible heritage, where culinary arts are intertwined with history, songs, festivals and local traditions. During community expeditions, indigenous recipes were collected, old cooking techniques were documented and intergenerational meetings were held that passed traditional knowledge to younger generations. A gastronomic itinerary "Timeless Flavors of Kurbin" was created, linking guesthouses, agritourism facilities and modern restaurants with the use of local products. The book compiles 38 carefully documented recipes, preserving authenticity and offering a bridge between tradition and modernity. It is a tribute to the women who have preserved this heritage and an invitation to see gastronomy as a cultural asset and an opportunity for development for the future.
