Plants of Conservation Interest in Korab–Koritnik Natural Park
The book "Plants of Conservation Interest in Korab–Koritnik Natural Park" represents an in-depth scientific study of high-value conservation flora in one of Albania's most important protected areas. The publication was produced by the Albanian Foundation for the Development of Local Capacities (ALCDF) and was authored by Lulëzim Shuka, Donald Shuka, and Abdulla Diku, renowned experts in botany and biodiversity. The scientific process was supported by reviewers Prof. Dr. Mersin Mersinllari and Prof. Assoc. Dr. Marash Rakaj, while editing was carried out by ALCDF. The publication was made financially possible by PONT – Prespa Ohrid Nature Trust, as part of a transboundary project for the protection and sustainable use of protected areas in Sharr Mountain, Mavrovo, and Korab–Koritnik. Project implementation was carried out by ALCDF, in partnership with the NGO "Dibra Turistike" in Albania and the Center for Community Sustainable Development (CSCD) in North Macedonia. The Management Authorities of Protected Areas in Dibër and Kukës, specialists, technicians, and rangers of protected areas also contributed to the process, making this publication a product of institutional, scientific, and transboundary cooperation for biodiversity conservation.
